Access & Approval

How do I join PropMesh?

PropMesh is invite-only. You can either enter an invite code from an existing member, or request access — our team reviews every application within 2–3 business days.

Why is the network invite-only?

Every member is a verified working broker. That's the only way co-broking matches and trust scores stay useful. Open sign-ups would defeat the purpose.

Do I need a RERA number?

RERA is optional but adds to your profile score and trust tier. Many of our members operate without RERA today; we encourage it where applicable.

I requested access — what happens next?

Our team reviews each request manually. If approved, you'll receive an invite code via email or WhatsApp. You then use the code to create your account.

Invite Codes

Where do I get an invite code?

Either from a PropMesh member who invited you, or from our team after your access request is approved.

My invite code isn't working

Codes are case-sensitive and may have an expiry. If it doesn't work, request access and our team will issue a fresh code.

Can I invite other brokers?

Yes — every approved member gets a personal invite code. Inviting verified brokers earns you credits and strengthens your network.

Broker Trust

How does the trust score work?

Your trust score (0–1000) combines profile completion, behavioral signals (response rate, activity, listing quality), and reputation from completed deals and peer feedback.

What are trust tiers?

Six tiers: Newcomer, Active, Trusted, Expert, Elite, Legend. Higher tiers get priority visibility and unlock more features.

What if a broker ghosts me?

Ghosting reduces the other broker's behavioral score. You can also leave feedback after a deal goes dead — repeated patterns affect their tier.

Locality Insights & Matching

How do matches get scored?

We score every requirement-listing pair out of 1000 points across 10 dimensions: locality, BHK, budget, property type, transaction type, ready/timeline, furnishing, floor, broker quality, and freshness.

Can I see why a match scored what it scored?

Yes. Every match shows a full score breakdown so you understand the strength before reaching out.

Do you cover all of Kolkata?

Yes — East, South, North, West, and Central zones with adjacency-aware matching across neighbouring localities.

Workflows & Deals

How does the deal room work?

When two brokers agree to engage, a structured deal room opens with stages: pending → active → site visit → negotiation → closed or dead. Every step is captured.

When do contact numbers get shared?

Phone numbers stay private until both brokers in a deal room mutually agree to share. No leaked numbers, no spam.

What happens after a deal closes?

Both sides leave feedback. Closed deals boost reputation; dead deals with ghosting reduce it. Your reputation travels with you.

City Expansion

Which cities are live?

Kolkata is live today. We expand only after we have a verified, dense broker base in a city — otherwise matches don't work.

When is my city coming?

Request access from your city — once we cross our verified-broker threshold, we open the city to all members. Founding members get launch perks.
